Qualification Form to mount Dual
Sanding Attachment (DSA) on Customer's single or double side tenoner.
Test Items:

Magnetic-Base Dial Indicator with .001 inch graduations.

Test Board #1-3/4" x 6" x 12" MDF
-
Test Board #2-3/4" x 6" x 72" MDF
(note: other wood may be substituted, but must be uniform+
.005 thickness with a smooth tight
grain.)
Test Procedure:

Position indicator to read vertically on
the shaped edge in the proposed sander locations(s). Run test
board # 1 with the indicator in position similar to that show.
Record any (vertical) indicator variation.

Run test board #2 (indicator located as in
step #1) and record any up/down variations (see End View below).

Reposition the indicator to read
horizontally on the edge of the board. Shape the edge of test
boards #1 and #2. Record any horizontal variations along the
shaped edges as they pass the indicator (see Top View below).

Repeat this test to verify results for every position at which
the DSAs will be mounted.
